Our Story


Our founder, Meghna Jaswal Mohan, is a professionally trained chef who has worked in leading hotels all over the world. The Kebabsmith was born out of her simple desire to create delicious food and share it with the people around her. Before marriage brought her to Singapore, Meghna ran two successful food businesses in India. After moving here, she realised that although South Asian food had made significant marks on the Singapore culinary scene, there were some crucial elements missing. Cue good quality kebabs and appetizers. Her concept is two-fold, and straightforward - make kebabs with healthy ingredients she would feed her kids, and make them conveniently available so that there’s always some in the freezer should the situation call for it: be it unexpected guests, or just a quick snack.
